With the month of April right around the corner, it is time to announce our upcoming Spring classes. Right off the bat, we start the month with the “Exploring Cannabis Careers” class on April 2nd, followed by our “Learn to Grow Class” just 30 minutes later. Then, on April 10th, we have our world-renown “Career Training Workshop.”
About the Career Training Workshop
The career workshop is an immersive course of 12 units in the Principles & Standards of Cannabis Patient Care. This course equips you with the knowledge to have meaningful conversations with patients in a dispensary setting through a series of topics including flower classifications, ailments/ conditions, concentrates, dispensary operations, processing methods, resume advice, and much, much more! It includes a hard copy workbook, printed certificate, and a digital pass to the Zoom class. This class first launched in 2013 and has been utilized by dispensary agents around the world! It usually runs for about 2 1/2 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions in class and get personalized help with your job search. The April 10th class is scheduled for 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (MST).
Is the Cannabis Industry Right For Me?
The cannabis industry is new, exciting and full of marijuana. What is there not to love? Well, it is also full of murkey water, regulations and other red tape. If you don’t know what you are doing, you can find yourself faced with fines, legal penalties, and other important considerations to take during your job hunt. The Exploring Cannabis Careers class will introduce you to all the job possibilities within the industry, from budtending, processing, growing, and more. The next class is set for April 2nd at 5:00 PM (MST). The cost is only $5 to attend the Zoom seminar. Or $10 if you want to include a Career Assessment test.
I Don’t Want a Job. I Want to Grow!
We hear you! Perhaps you already have an amazing job. There’s no reason to walk away from a job that makes you happy. But who does not want to learn how to grow marijuana and have the best-looking plants? A healthy garden starts with a strong foundation in plant care. But, there’s more to it than just putting a seed in the ground. In our Learn to Grow class, we’ll teach you how to grow the best plants using your preferred grow medium, whether it be soil or hydroponics. Plus, we’ll discuss grow lights, nutrients, and troubleshooting. The Beginner’s Grow Class is scheduled for April 2nd and 6:00 PM (MST).
